The UP State Capital Area, containing Lucknow, Hardoi, Sitapur, Unnao, Rae Bareli, and Barabanki, is framed in memory of the populace tension in the capital city, said boss pastor Yogi Adityanath, who started this venture in September 2022.

Joining six locales together, SCR will have a population of almost 23 lakh individuals.

According to 2011 numbers, Lucknow has a population density of 1816 for each square kilometer, which is over two times the state population density of 829 for every square kilometer. Lucknow’s population thickness is the third most elevated in the state, following Ghaziabad (part of Delhi NCR) with 3971 individuals per sq km and Varanasi with 2395 individuals per sq km.

On Friday, UP Lead Representative Anandiben Patel endorsed the foundation of the Uttar Pradesh State Capital District Improvement Authority (UP-SCRDA), and the Lodging and Metropolitan Arranging Division gave the warning.

This announcement went under the powers vested in subsection (1) of Area 3 of the Uttar Pradesh State Capital District and Different Locales Advancement Authority Law, 2024 (UP Statute 4 of 2024).

The UP-SCRDA, with its central command in Lucknow, will be helmed by the UP CM and will have the main secretary of the state as the bad habit director.
