Stree 2 Trailer: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor Face New Monster Sarkata
A thrilling and exciting adventure awaits viewers of the just released trailer for Stree 2, which stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Abhishek Banerjee. The 2018 horror-comedy sequel picks up where the first one left off, with Stree’s ghost haunting the town of Chanderi. In the teaser, the locals—Raksummar, Abhishek, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana—assign themselves, with Stree’s assistance, to battle Another Evil: Sarkata Aadmi. Prepare yourselves, then, for some eerie humor.
The trailer
The new menace to the people of Chanderi, “Sarkata,” is introduced in the teaser by Pankaj Tripathi’s Rudra Bhaiya (headless monster). Shraddha Kapoor, who was apparently the bad spirit in the film’s predecessor, arrives to shield them from his terror. This time, instead of saying, “O stree kal aana,” the people of Chanderi pray to Stree, “O stree raksha karna.” The new menace facing the people of Chanderi is introduced in the trailer by Pankaj Tripathi’s character Rudra Bhaiya. Sarkata is a headless monster.
After assuming the role of the spirit in the previous installment of the film, Shraddha Kapoor reappears to try and protect everyone from its reign of evil. The inhabitants of Chanderi pray to Stree this time, “O stree raksha karna,” realizing the serious situation rather than saying, “O stree kal aana.” There are laughs and chills throughout the trailer. It includes various funny one-liners as well as eerie images of “Sarkata’s” deadly head. Rudra Bhaiya, for example, once claimed that Sarkata is an influencer who is in Chanderi merely to gain more followers.

Stree 2 and Supernatural Universe
Rajummar Rao and Shraddha were essential characters in Stree. With Shraddha’s character spotted holding the pony tail—said to be connected to the evil spirit—the film ended on a cliffhanger. The horror universe of Maddock Films has grown with the release of Munjya (2024), Bhediya (2022), and Roohi (2021). Even Abhishek Banerjee and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya characters had brief cameos in Munjya, which starred Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma. Akshay Kumar is rumored to make an unexpected cameo in the movie. In a unique position, Tamannaah Bhatia will also be included. August 15 is when the Amar Kaushik-directed film opens.
