One bystander was killed and two others suffered serious injuries as the assailant fired multiple shots. The security guards shot and killed him, although they haven’t yet recognized them.

After the shooting, US President Joe Biden, who is running against Trump in the US election scheduled for November, met with his fiercest opponent and harshly denounced the crime.
