BJP Ally N Chandrababu Naidu Proposes Meeting with Congress Leader Revanth Reddy

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of Andhra Pradesh and A Revanth Reddy of Telangana have corresponded, offering a face-to-face meeting on July 6 to discuss several issues between the two states. In his letter dated Monday, Chandrababu Naidu suggested a meeting site in Hyderabad at Revanth Reddy’s house. The idea that the chief minister of the NDA and the Congress should meet, despite their long-standing friendship, has caused a lot of enthusiasm in political circles. An issue mentioned in Chandrababu Naidu’s letter to the Telangana chief minister is possible cooperation projects between the two states, a subject of great conjecture.

“In my letter to Sri @revanth_anumula Garu, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, I suggested that our two Telugu-speaking States get together to discuss common concerns. To address post-bifurcation concerns, improve cooperation, and promote progress in our states, I look forward to working closely with him,” the leader of the Telugu Desam Party posted. “The split of the former Andhra Pradesh occurred ten years ago. According to Chandrababu Naidu’s letter, the welfare and development of our states are greatly affected by the Reorganisation Act’s difficulties, which have been the subject of numerous talks.

Naidu stated that to guarantee the continued development and prosperity of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it is the responsibility of the chief ministers of the Telugu-speaking states to cultivate close cooperation. A face-to-face meeting, he continued, will offer the chance to collaborate fully to arrive at win-win solutions. The TDP leader and his council of ministers took an oath of office on June 12 as Andhra chief ministers. The TDP, in collaboration with the Janasena Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party, had contested both the Lok Sabha and the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections.
