Alia Bhatt’s Face Deepfaked in Wamiqa Gabbi’s Video: Fans Stir Debate
Alia Bhatt is the most recent celebrity whose video has been deep-faked, after Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, Kajol, and Aamir Khan. Wamiqa Gabbi’s video was altered to include Alia Bhatt’s face, according to a recent Instagram post by user Unfixface.
Alia’s face was edited on Wamiqa’s video
The actress appeared in the video wearing a crimson saree with a matching top. The caption that accompanied it said, “Aliabhatt off the screen.” One user reacted to the post by asking, “Is this legal? It is your use of Alia’s face.” “This is the actual video of Wamiqa Gabi,” one commenter said. They used AI to replace it with Alia’s face.”
The original video featured Wamiqa
A few days prior, Wamiqa posted the self-starring video to her Instagram. “Yes, your Premiqa is a fan of Chamkila,” she wrote. She also included Pehle Lalkare Naal Main Dar Gai by Amar Singh Chamila as the background music.
