Legendary cricketer MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi, was among the ecstatic spectators at Chepauk Stadium, keen to see her team win quickly.
Sakshi frequently attends CSK games. This time, Sakshi urged the players to finish the game quickly since a “baby was on the way” as she applauded from the Chepauk stands in her trademark hilarious manner.
Sakshi said that she would soon become an aunt. “Please, @chennaiipl, finish the game quickly today. A baby is on its way. The contractions have started. I would like to be “Bua”! In her Instagram story, she wrote:
Sakshi was thrilled to see the team win, but her outrage at Dhoni’s boundary also went viral. The crowd went wild as the former skipper of CSK stepped out to bat at number five and opened his account with a boundary. In an attempt to avenge the earlier defeats, the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led team gave it everything they had against SRH in Chennai, pulling off a significant victory.

Daryl Mitchell, a New Zealand all-rounder who scored 52 runs off 32 balls, and Shivam Dube, who finished undefeated after scoring 39 runs off 20 balls, provided him with strong assistance. Thanks to match-winning bowling efforts by Mateestha Pathirana and Tushar Deshpande, SRH was able to respond to the 213-run goal with 134 all out in 18.5 overs. Pat Cummins, Anmolpreet Singh, and Travis Head were all removed thanks to Deshpande’s triple strike. Pathirana eliminated Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen. The match between CSK and Punjab Kings is scheduled for Wednesday.
