“Apology: Is It the Same Size as Advertising?” In Pantanjali Deceptive Advertising Case, SC Attacks Ramdev and Balkrishna
During the hearing of the deceptive advertisement case against Patanjali Ayurveda on Tuesday, the Supreme Court emphasized the protection of all consumer groups, including women, children, and newborns. The bench questioned whether or not the apology’s size matched that of the company’s marketing throughout the case hearing.
The court further stated that the “Union Government must wake up to this” and address the issue with vigour.
On Tuesday, Patanjali Ayurveda expressed regret and pledged not to make the same error again. This occurred before the Supreme Court heard arguments in the medical company’s deceptive advertisement lawsuit.

The court has requested that Baba Ramdev and Patanjali MD Acharya Balkrishna personally attend the hearing on Tuesday.
The case is presently being heard by a bench made up of Justices Hima Kohli and Ahsanuddin Amanullah at the court.
