Report: Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 Won’t Return This Year

Bigg Boss OTT season 3 viewers may have to wait a little while longer. Bigg Boss’s 2021 digital debut may not make a comeback this year for a third season. According to an Indian Express article, “saturation” is the reason why Jio Cinema and Colors TV decided not to renew the show.

Bigg Boss OTT 3 is reportedly going to stream on May 15 of this year, according to current rumors. That is not at all accurate; a source informed the publication. The producers “don’t want to get Bigg Boss OTT this year because the show’s audience is facing saturation,” according to a source, and they may decide not to air the show at all this year to avoid overexposure. They further assert that although conversations are still in the “premature stage,” Jio Cinema, Colors TV, and Banijay Asia have not affirmed this.

Previous seasons of Bigg Boss OTT

Since the 2006 launch of the TV version, Bigg Boss has enjoyed immense popularity. Since 2010, Salman Khan has served as its presenter. Bigg Boss OTT, the show’s digital adaptation, debuted in 2021, and Karan Johar assumed hosting responsibilities. That year, actor Divya Agarwal won the award. Salman took over as host for the second season, during which the reality show was won by YouTuber Elvish Yadav. In addition to airing every day for an hour on Voot during Season 1 and Jio Cinema during Season 2, the show was also available for streaming around the clock. Many of the competitors on Bigg Boss OTT 2 went on to become famous. Participating in the show were Abhishek Malhan, Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani, Jiya Shankar, and Pooja Bhatt. For the third season, people with names like Sheezan Khan, Arhaan Behll, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe, Dalljiet Kaur, Maxtern, Sriram Chandra, and Dhanashree Verma were in the running.
