PM Narendra Modi Rallies in Pilibhit, Balaghat, Chennai Today: Top Updates

On Tuesday, April 9, sometime recently, during the highly expected Lok Sabha elections of 2024, PM Narendra Modi will talk at a public meeting in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh; campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Madhya Pradesh’s Maoist-affected Balaghat; and then conduct a roadshow in South and Central Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Modi had earlier on Sunday introduced the BJP’s Madhya Pradesh election campaign with a lavish roadshow in Jabalpur, where attendees flocked to both sides of the road and showered the prime minister with petals. Modi was accompanied on the visit by Mohan Yadav, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh.

  • PM Modi at Pilibhit, UP: On Tuesday, the state of Uttar Pradesh’s prime minister, Modi, is expected to give a speech at a public event in Pilibhit. The BJP chose Jitin Prasada over incumbent Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi. Representatives Varun Gandhi and his mother, Maneka Gandhi, have served the constituency since 1996.
  • Along with Minister of State for Revenue Anoop Pradhan Valmiki, a BJP candidate from Hathras, Prasada is one of only two cabinet ministers from Uttar Pradesh to have been given a ticket for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
