Kangana Ranaut Denies Eating Beef, Asserts Hindu Identity Against Baseless Rumors
On social media, actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has addressed several rumors that have been circulating about her. She denied in a recent tweet that she consumes meat.
What did Kangana tweet?
“Beef and other red meats are off limits to me. The fact that completely baseless stories are being spread about me is repulsive. Since I have been supporting yogic and Ayurvedic lifestyles for decades, these kinds of efforts won’t help to damage my reputation. Nothing can ever deceive my people—who know me and know that I am a proud Hindu—Jai Shri Ram,” she stated.
The old tweet
This happens after some of her older tweets from 2019 were discovered, in which she discussed her yogic lifestyle. But the tweet wasn’t written in the first person. “There is nothing wrong with eating beef or any other meat,” it stated. It is not a religious matter! It’s no secret that Kangana became a vegetarian and a yogi eight years ago. She hasn’t given up on having several religions. Her brother, however, consumes meat.

Kangana joins politics.
Recently turned politician Kangana Ranaut is a candidate for the BJP’s Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh. She planned a citywide roadshow to be ready for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The performer claimed that despite the difficulties she faced in the film business—including persistent bullying because of her Himachal Pradeshi origins and poor English—she was always happy to be from Mandi. “I live in Manali, and in my village, there’s a little Devi shrine. To carve out a niche for myself, I battled and worked hard,” Ranaut remarked.
Her statement, which implied slights at Pratibha Singh, the current Congress MP, and her son Vikramaditya Singh, the PWD Minister, was, “It is not that my father or husband is chief minister and I have joined politics.” Tejas was the last film starring Kangana Ranaut. Her next role will be in the biographical film Emergency, which is based on the life of Indira Gandhi. She is also the film’s director.
