The BCCI has officially declared it has rescheduled two matches of the continuous season of the Indian Head Alliance that got underway in the final month. According to a BCCI discharge, the installation between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, which was initially planned to take place on April 17, 2024, at Eden Gardens, has been postponed by a day and will presently be held on April 16, 2024.
On the other hand, the challenge between the Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals, previously pencilled in to be held on April 16, 2024, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, has been delayed by a day and will presently be played on April 17, 2024.
While BCCI hasn’t formally given any particular reason for the minor rejig, CricketNext has learned that the specialists in Kolkata were uncertain of giving security for the KKR-RR IPL installation at the Eden Gardens as it clashes with Rama Navami festivities. “It shouldn’t be an enormous challenge since there is satisfactory dividing between installations of these groups and there is sufficient time to make the vital changes and arrangements at the two venues,” a source close to improvements told this publication.

The BCCI reported the IPL 2024 plan in two stages to guarantee it doesn’t clash with the surveying dates in the country.
