PM Modi Responds to Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Shakti’ Remarks: ‘I Accept the Challenge’
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi retaliated against Congressman Rahul Gandhi for his comments on “shakti,” or power, by asserting that every mother and daughter in the nation embodies “shakti.” Modi was speaking at a Lok Sabha election rally in Jagtial, Telangana. “In their platform, the INDI alliance said that they were fighting ‘ Shakti’. Every mother, daughter, and sister is, in my opinion, a type of “shakti.” They are worshipped by me as “shakti.” I am a devotee of Bharat Mata. “Main jaan ki baazi laga dunga” is their challenge, and I embrace it. Their agenda calls for finishing “Shakti,” Modi declared.
The prime minister went on to discuss how “Shiv Shakti” was also the name of the Chandrayaan-3 landing site. “Can someone discuss Shakti’s’ destruction? …We named the location of Chandrayaan’s landing “Shiv Shakti” in honor of the mission’s accomplishment. Muqabla 4 June ko ho jaaega’… is the battle between those who worship Shakti and those who wish to destroy it,” he continued. Rahul Gandhi attacked the NDA government on Sunday at the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’s concluding ceremony in Mumbai. He compared them to the Hindu emblem of “shakti,” which is frequently associated with Maa Durga, and announced the opposition’s war against it.
“‘Shakti’ is a term used in Hinduism. That shakti is what we are fighting against. What exactly is that Shakti, one wonders? Rahul Gandhi declared, “The soul of the king is in the EVM and every institution of the country, in the ED, CBI, and Income Tax Department.” Rahul Gandhi criticized the prime minister, saying, “Modi is a mask who works for a shakti.” He lacks a 56-inch chest and is a shallow man.” Rahul Gandhi was dubbed “a Hinduphobic and misogynist” by BJP IT cell leader Amit Malviya, who was offended by his comments. Amit Malviya also brought up the fact that Udhayanidhi Stalin, another well-known member of the INDIA group, had made remarks critical of Sanatan Dharm.

It is now Rahul Gandhi’s turn to disparage Shakti, following the call made by DMK’s Udhayanidhi Stalin for the destruction of Sanatan Dharma. Maa Durga, also called Shivangi, Mahadevi, Kali, Gauri, Tripura Sundari, Sati, Parvati, and Uma, is the embodiment of the many facets of Shakti, or power. She is regarded as the Lord’s primordial force, or adi shakti, and is in charge of creation, maintenance, and destruction. She is regarded as the mother figure in Hinduism because she is the destroying force (samhaar shakti) of Lord Shiva, the sustaining power (paalan shakti) of Vishnu, and the creating energy (Shrishti shakti) of Brahma. Shakti also represents the empowerment of women. Malviya contributed to X.
