Sunny Deol’s son, Karan Deol, will be the main character in Aamir Khan’s upcoming film, Lahore 1947. It was recently disclosed that Karan had tried out for a role in a movie that was quite important. In the movie, Karan will play the role of Javed.

Aamir praises Sunny’s son

“I am so happy that Karan Deol has tested so well for the extremely critical role of Javed,” Aamir stated in a statement. He offers a great deal with his genuineness, honesty, and inherent innocence. Karan is putting his all into the task, having put in a lot of effort, attending courses with ADISHAKTI and Raj, and practicing hard. Javed is a fantastic role, albeit a difficult one, and I do not doubt that Karan will kill it under Raj Santoshi’s direction.”

About Lahore 1947

Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta both had important roles in the film. Rajkumar Santoshi is directing, and Aamir Khan Productions is producing the historical drama. In addition, Abhimanyu Singh, Shabana Azmi, and Ali Fazal made cameos in Lahore in 1947. This movie marks the first collaboration between Sunny, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan. Additionally, Santoshi has secured Santosh Sivan to serve as Lahore 1947’s cameraman. In the movie, he is working alongside Javed Akhtar and AR Rahman as well.

What Santoshi had said about the film

According to a news outlet, Santoshi recently stated in a statement, “Lahore 1947 is a very special film.” It’s also a get-together with the most gifted individuals. I went into production with Aamir after we worked together on Andaz Apna Apna. We created beloved movies like Ghayal, Damini, and Ghatak with Sunny Deol.” He had said, “A R. Rahman is the best composer in the world right now; thus, I can’t think of anyone else to do the music for a movie this size. I’ve had a great relationship with Javed Akhtar for a long time, so having him write the lyrics for this project is a pleasure. It’s uncommon to find a squad like this one; it’s the ultimate dream team. We are going to start the film soon, full of enthusiasm and happiness.
