Chennai Super Kings Kick Off Training Camp Ahead of IPL 2024

The bowler Deepak Chahar, who will hold back nothing rebound through a consistent run for his club in the IPL starting on March 22, went to the launch of the Chennai Super Lords pre-season training camp on Saturday.

An authority from the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) told PTI, “The main clump of nearby (Indian) players showed up on Friday and more are supposed to show up before long.”

The main group of players to show up in the city were Simarjeet Singh (pacer), Rajvardhan Hangargekar (all-rounder), Mukesh Choudhary (pacer), Prashant Solanki (spinner), Ajay Mandal (all-rounder), and Deepak Chahar (seamer), as checked by CSK on Friday.

Chahar Eyes T20 World Cup Comeback After Overcoming Fitness Setback

Notably, Chahar hasn’t participated in any cricket since mid-December, when he withdrew from the T20 series against Australia and skipped the South Africa tour because of his father’s sickness.

Be that as it may, last month, while working out at the Public Cricket Foundation (NCA) in Bengaluru, he articulated himself impeccably fit. With the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and the USA in June, the injury-inclined bowler is wanting to get back to the public group.

Fan-favourite  and group captain MS Dhoni’s appearance is yet to be affirmed. He was seen in Jamnagar on Friday with his better half Sakshi, attending Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding event. Anant is the youngest child of Indian business mogul Mukesh Ambani. On March 22, CSK will play their first IPL 2024 matchup against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) here.
