IPL 2024 will begin on March 22, according to BCCI chairman Arun Dhamal

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is arranging to begin the IPL (Indian Chief Association) 2024 on Friday, March 22. As of late, the chairman of the overseeing board of the IPL, Arun Dhamal, revealed that the plan of the cash-rich association will be declared in two halves.

The BCCI will first announce the plan for the primary two weeks of the competition, and the opening for the remaining diversions will be chosen once the plan for the common decisions 2024 is out. Dhamal assistant expressed that the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai is the front-runner to have the shader of the 17th season of the T20 extravaganza.

“The arrangement is to begin the competition on Walk 22 in Chennai. We are keeping tabs on the circumstances, and since the dates for the common decisions are declared, we can adjust the afterwards half of the competition accordingly,” Dhumal was cited as saying by Sportstar.  Strikingly, the IPL 2023 also started on Friday with the Chennai Super Lords and Gujarat Titans taking on each other within the opening installation, whereas the remaining eight groups bolted horns against each other over the end of the week in two-fold headers.

The BCCI is arranging on similar lines this time around as well, as the ultimate of the Women’s Head Alliance (WPL) 2024 will be held on Sunday, with Walk 17 taking off the following end of the week free to have the primary five diversions of the IPL 2024.  Prior, broad reports claimed that the competition was likely to be moved outside of India, keeping the common decisions in mind. Be that as it may, Dhamal guaranteed that the complete competition would take place in India.

A total of 74 matches will be played within the competition, counting the four play-off matches.  In the year 2019 as well, the IPL was entirely played in India despite the Common Decisions that year. In any case, in the election year 2014, the primary half was held in the UAE, whereas in 2009, the complete competition was held in South Africa.  Chennai Super Rulers (CSK) will be seen guarding their crown within the up-and-coming season as they clinched their fifth title in 2023, beating Gujarat Titans in an exciting last. All eyes will be on their captain, MS Dhoni, who is likely to play the ultimate season of his IPL career. The ‘Captain Cool’ will wrap up his career in fashion by leading CSK to a record 6th title.
