Sonia Gandhi, the former head of the Congress, disclosed ₹12.53 crore in assets in her affidavit for the Rajya Sabha election. Sonia Gandhi also owns ₹27 lakh worth of shares in her father’s Italian property. She also possesses jewelry, 1,267 grams of gold, and 88 kilograms of silver. In Dera Mandi village, New Delhi, the Congress leader owns three bighas of agricultural property. Her earnings have been disclosed, including her capital gains, royalty income, and MP salary. Sonia Gandhi stated in her poll affidavit that she has ₹90,000 in cash. According to the then-election affidavit, her total fortune in 2019 was Rs 11.82 crore.
Sonia Gandhi’s educational qualification
Sonia Gandhi finished a three-year program in English and French at Istituto Santa Teresa in Siena in 1964, as stated in her election declaration for the Rajya Sabha. She completed a certificate program in English at Cambridge’s Lennox Cook School in 1965. Sonia Gandhi doesn’t own a personal vehicle and doesn’t use social media. Sonia Gandhi made a significant change when she said she would no longer run for the Lok Sabha. She put forth her Rajasthani nomination for the Rajya Sabha. Sonia Gandhi wrote a message to the residents of Raibareli, the constituency in which she has served as a representative for the past five times, stating that the residents of Raibareli are the reason her family in Delhi is whole.

“You elected my father-in-law, Firoze Gandhi, and sent him to Delhi as your representative in the first Lok Sabha elections following independence. Afterward, you chose Indira Gandhi, my mother-in-law, to represent you. Our relationship has experienced many highs and lows, but it has remained exciting and full of love throughout. And our commitment to it grew stronger over time,” Sonia Gandhi said, noting that her age and health issues were the primary reasons she chose not to run for office in Raibareli. The BJP has now protested that Sonia Gandhi did not fully declare her immovable assets on her candidacy form. The details of Sonia Gandhi’s property portion in Italy were not disclosed, according to a letter sent by BJP leader Yogendra Singh Tanwar to the Returning Officer for the Election of the Council of States (Rajya Sabha). Important information has been combined, including the property’s precise location—whether it is in Rome, Florence, Milan, Trento, or another city. Furthermore, relevant details on the 25% or greater percentage share in the feathered property have not been revealed,” the BJP leader added.
