Bardhan had finished a four-week training course at the Karnataka Police Academy in Mysuru before to the event. “Sadly, such an accident happened while he was on his way to take charge as an IPS officer,” said Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, expressing his sympathies to Bardhan’s family.
